The ranks on this site vary greatly. The ranks are shown below, as well as the maximum amount that each species of dragon may have. Remember that there is a kingdom for each dragon species.
Dragons always start out as hatchlings, then either food-carriers, defenders, or attackers- depending on the choice of the leader. The females will sometimes be submitted into the rank of a dragon mother, but will return after their hatchlings are ranked up.
Dragons may be promoted or demoted, depending on the leader's wishes. Young hatchlings may become infiltrators if they appear to be suited for the task. No dragon chooses their ranks aside from those dragons born to the leader.
- Shuhan- The shuhan is the head dragon, basically the lord of all dragons of a specific type. According to custom, this is passed down through blood; after the old shuhan dies, a new one takes his or her place. There is only one shuhan.
- Shaman- The shaman is a healer of the dragon kingdoms. There can be only one shaman.
- Head Infiltrator- The head infiltrator is basically the main infiltrator sent out to other kingdoms. These are usually ones that have remained undiscovered throughout their youth and have made it to adulthood. These are usually the ones that train young infiltrators or- in the case of a female- perhaps their own hatchlings. There can be only one head infiltrator.
- Infiltrator- Infiltrators are basically spies sent out by various dragon kingdoms as young dragons or hatchlings to other kingdoms. There, the head infiltrator keeps an eye on the new hatchling and trains him or her secretly. There are only two infiltrators in each kingdom.
- Fighter- A fighter is a dragon that, well, fights. They are specifically trained in ways of battle- and of body. There is an unlimited amount of fighters.
- Elder- An elder is an old dragon that has seen much of the world and hardly fights- but when they do, it's like a storm. Elders are neutral and live in places seperated from their home kingdoms.
- Defender- A defender is much like a fighter, only they use their skills to protect the leader, dragon mothers and hatchlings, or their elders. They can be also used as fighters if need be. There is an unlimited amount of defenders.
- Food-carrier- Food-carriers are the dragons that hunt food for the others. While fighters and defenders can be food-carriers if there is no war, food-carriers can do nothing but hunt. They are usually fast an agile. There is an unlimited amount of food-carriers.
- Dragon mother- Dragon mothers are basically females expecting or raising hatchlings. This is a temporary ranking and there is an unlimited number of dragon mothers.
- Hatchling- Hatchlings are newly-hatched dragons. Dragons retain the role of hatchlings until they are promoted.
