Personalities
Healing dragons are usually reserved and cautious, though quite a few are known to be rambunctious and outgoing. These dragons also have the average slightly bloodthirsty instincts of other dragons, though it's noticed to be considerably less. They are usually rebellious and resentful of being controlled.
Body Structures and Evolution
Long ago there was only one territory in the entire Sky Kingdom- that of the light dragons. Eventually a small group of them- gifted with unusual powers but born too weak to survive the upper atmosphere- broke off to form their own group. Several regular light dragons went with them, and their powers were gradually intensified until they became the power to heal. Healing dragons can cure major wounds and illnesses within the span of a few hours, but the toll is great. To heal another creature, they must use the energy from animals or plants around them as well as their own and pour it into the wound. This can take a huge toll on them or even kill them, depending on the size of the wound.
Homes
Healing dragons retained some of the powers that light dragons had- such as the ability to mold clouds. Their wings aren't as strong or as flexible as those of light dragons, so they must resort to using their tails as well. A small group of light dragons visits their territory each day to solidify the dens they make so that they will be suitable for living.
Food
For healing dragons, food is a problem. Tons of them must venture the the Sky Prairie each day to collect enough food to bring back up to their cloud home. Unlike light dragons, they cannot make their own food aside from meager amounts that they had inherited before the Sky Kingdom had formed into two territories. They may also eat birds, but for dragons those puny creatures are only a light snack.
